About the role

The Graphic Design Manager role requires collaborating with other team members across the business, primarily commercial and brand design, to ensure that the Grande Experiences brand and marketing materials reach the highest standards and connect with our primary B2B audiences.

Collaborating closely with team members across the organisation, primarily the Global Commercial Team, your work will directly support and enhance our marketing strategy and campaign materials. You will also create world-class presentations and pitch decks, turning complex data and statistics into visually engaging and persuasive graphics. Under the guidance of both the Head of Commercial & Marketing and the Head of Touring Experiences, you will develop, and design bespoke visual assets and narratives that drive lead generation and sales conversions.

The role will also require expertise in entertainment creative design to develop concepts and overseeing the execution of designs to support and promote Grande Experiences, IP Partnerships and touring immersive cultural experiences.

Working alongside the Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include crafting a range of targeted marketing tools designed to bolster the strategic initiatives of the commercial team. This role demands a solid understanding of the arts and entertainment sectors, coupled with a strong aesthetic sense and a keen eye for design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic storytelling: Collaborate on the brand awareness and strategic storytelling process with the Marketing Manager to create a compelling brand of attraction.
  • Creative Management: Oversee the visual design and creative direction of the company's products and brands, projects such as marketing/advertising campaigns, branding initiatives, and digital content.
  • Presentation and Pitch Decks: Design and assemble bespoke presentations and pitch decks that effectively communicate complex data and strategic messages in a visually engaging manner to captivate B2B audiences.
  • Plan and art direct photo shoots for Grande portfolio of experiences.
  • Design and Development: Create high-quality visual designs, including graphics, layouts, illustrations, and other visual elements, for various mediums and platforms such as print, digital, and social media and Present design concepts to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Strategy Implementation: Work closely with the global commercial team and other stakeholders to conceptualize and implement visual strategies that enhance marketing campaigns and business objectives.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all created materials maintain brand consistency across various platforms and adhere to company standards, contributing to a coherent and recognizable brand identity.
  • Strong sense of aesthetics: Ability to create engaging and effective designs and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from team members and key stakeholders to refine designs and adapt to changing requirements or market trends.
  • Project Management: Lead brainstorming sessions and concept development. Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and outcomes align with strategic goals.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in graphic design, especially within the arts and entertainment industry, to ensure innovative and effective designs.
  • Cross-functional Support: Provide design support and expertise to other departments as needed, helping them achieve their project goals through effective visual communication.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on the progress and impact of design initiatives to the Head of Commercial & Marketing and Head of Touring Experiences and use insights to improve future design strategies.
  • Brand Guardianship: Support the Marketing Manager with the creation, updating, and management of experience presentations.

Who you are

  • An outstanding design sensibility
  • Ability to perform autonomously, or within a team to meet deadlines and produce quality results
  • A proven ability to communicate complex ideas through graphic solutions
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of PC & Mac hardware, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and presentation software such PowerPoint, Google Slides and Keynote
  • Strong knowledge in the delivery of creative artwork for digital and print
  • Knowledge of best practice design studio protocols such as adherence to file structure and version control
  • Have a deep understanding of the entertainment industry and a strong portfolio showcasing design skills and experience in entertainment design
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in Monday.com for project and workflow management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Minimum requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working in a creative production environment
